and champion survivor safety, justice, healing, and hope. Proceeds from this event will be donated
to Willow Center and we will be running a donation drive as part of this event. Please consider bringing

Join us on Saturday, February 28th 2026 as we support a pillar of our
community: The Flying Squirrel! A little about them:
The Flying Squirrel operates as a grassroots meeting space that hosts:
gallery space exhibiting regional art; community workshops and classrooms;
‘open-mic’ and poetry readings; practice spaces for musicians; live local
music and dance shows, film screenings; community craft production and
craft exhibits; small academic conference space and public lecture space;
and a community kitchen — all this provided reliably and consistently at
no cost or for a small donation.

The Winter Ball ‘25 was a community centered Premodern, Old School, and Legacy Magic: the Gathering event hosted in
the Greater Rochester NY area by the Rochester Royals. This was the inaugural event and we were blown away by the turnout! Seventy folks from
across the North East of the United States joined us to jam Premodern, Old School, Legacy and raise support for those in need: The
Gathering at its finest.

The Rochester Royals are throwing our first Winter Ball in benefit of the
Brighton Food Cupboard
a non-profit
organization based in Rochester. We will be running a Premodern
main event,
an Old School 93/94
side event,
and a Legacy
side event. We have a 155 person cap for the day.
Please join us for The Royal Rumble: a Legacy* async event! We’ll run the
Swiss asynchronously giving players up to 2 weeks to play their matches
on their terms. The Top Cut will be run in-person (details to be announced).
